Thanks to everyone who came out to the Steamboat Springs High School last night to hear from a panel of housing experts talk about Tiny Homes! We heard from local realtor Darrin Fryer give a cost comparison between the mortgage of a home >1,000 sq. ft. and a tiny house (200-600 sq. ft.), High School teacher and Tiny Home builder Dusty Dike talk about his experience and the joy he gets from building these homes, Director of Planning and Community Development Tyler Gibbs discuss building and zoning regulations, Alan Goldich a County Planner discuss Tiny Home regulations in the County, and Ben Grush a Routt County Building Department Building Official give several Tiny Home building scenarios.
