Stephen will be speaking about his latest book – Dam Nation, How Water Shaped the West and Will Determine Its Future.  Dam Nation presents the history of water use in the West and the ongoing legal and moral battles over water in the West. The book is a finalist for the Colorado Book Award.  A review of the book can be found in High Country News http://www.hcn.org/issues/44.22/western-water-in-poetry-and-policy-a-review-of-dam-nation and more information on Stephen and the book can be found on the book’s website  http://dam-nation.net

In addition to Stephen’s talk, local water experts have been invited to host information tables about their companies and programs, which we hope will provide additional great input to the evenings discussions.
