Zero Hero Supporters, Community Service Hours Needers, and General Do-Gooders!
This coming weekend we are looking for happy, helpful, heroes and LOTS of them!!
This Friday is the 4th of July and we all want to celebrate! How about you join in the fun by volunteering at a Zero Waste Event?!
We have two events on Friday going off at the same time. SSWSC’s Jumpin’ and Jammin’ Event at Howelsen Hill. And the Tread of Pioneers Block Party on 8th Street. Both are in need of 4-8 volunteers to cover 1/2 shifts of 10 – 1, 1 – 4, or the whole day at 10 – 4.
Then on Saturday we have a double header! Farmers Market and the next Summer Free Concert Series – Big Head Todd and the Monsters! We could use your help for all-event or half-event shifts. The Market runs from 9am – 2pm on 7th and Yampa. Half shifts would be 8:30 – 11:30am and 11:30 – 2:20pm. Free Concerts run from 5 – 10ish. Stay and help the whole time or for a half shift, 4:30 – 7:30pm or 7:30 – 10:00pm.
Please give back to our great community by volunteering for one (or all if you like the karma!) of these events!!
