Want to make your event Zero Waste? You can rent collapsible recycle and compost bins from YVSC. These bins are easy to use and transport and are perfect for events up to 200 people. YVSC’s DIY Zero Waste Event Kit works well for holiday events, small-medium size weddings, corporate events, yoga retreats, neighborhood block parties, cocktail parties and more. Rental of the kit starts at $25. To reserve your station supplies, please fill out the form below, and we will contact you directly.
You can order bins individually or order a full station. Bin pick-up is based on agreement at the YVSC office, 141 9th St. Monday-Friday 9 am – 5 pm. For events under 100 people, compost can be disposed of at the YVSC office. If the event is over 100 people, we recommend ordering compost and recycle bins through Twin Enviro 970-879-6985.
DIY Events only make sense if you are using compostable, recyclable or reusable tableware, which can be purchased locally at The Green Company or Natural Grocers.

Additional bags are available for purchase at $1.50 per bag (We recommend one 45-gallon bag for every 25 people).
