Join us the day before the Green Building Tour for a not-to-be-missed event to promote and support sustainability in the Yampa Valley. YVSC will host an environmentally-focused nonprofit/business networking session in the afternoon, followed by a cocktail reception and silent auction open to the general public at the Steamboat Community Center. Green Building Tour

The YVSC Green Building Committee’s annual green building tour will take place in conjunction with the American Solar Energy Society National Solar Tour, which is the largest grassroots solar event in history. Steamboat will be one of 3,200 communities participating in the tour! The green building tour offers participants the opportunity to tour local homes and buildings to see how their neighbors are using solar energy, energy efficiency and other sustainable technologies to reduce their monthly utility bills and help tackle climate change.
