Locals can commemorate Earth Day 2014 with two free screenings of award-winning and entertaining environmental films at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday April 15 and Wednesday April 16 at library hall in Steamboat Springs. On April 15 the film screening will be “A Fierce Green Fire” about the history of the environmental movement. April 16 will feature “YERT” about a one-year environmental road trip. Entrance is free, but any donations will support the Steamboat Springs Middle School Green Team program and their efforts to participate in the Global Ozone Project.
