Over 100 locals registered for the Routt County Cleanup Day and cleaned up 30 miles of county highway this week, with over 50 showing up to clean today despite some inclement weather and multiple in-town events, beating last year’s turnout by far!
The event was hosted by Routt County Environmental Health, a huge thanks to that team who puts in the long hours for this event every year!
The orange trash bags will be picked up by the Colorado Department of Transportation, and 24 blue bags of recycling were picked up this afternoon by dedicated partners at Yampatika. View the Facebook event page here.
