Talking Green May 23 addresses residential water efficiency

The community is invited to join YVSC and local partners for an educational Talking Green “Residential Water Efficiency: Not a Drop to Waste” at 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 23 at the Steamboat Springs Community Center.

The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. with residential water saving informational tables from Mount Werner Water District, Yampatika, Gecko Landscape, CSU Master Gardeners, Community Agricultural Alliance and YVSC. Guest speaker Kevin Reidy, State of Colorado water conservation technical specialist since 2009, will discuss both the big picture of the water supply-demand gap in Colorado as well as individual actions residents can take in their daily lives to conserve water.

The informational tables will open again after the speaker presentation. This Talking Green is co-sponsored by the Community Agricultural Alliance and the City of Steamboat Springs. For questions, info@yvsc.org.
