Tour de Steamboat – July 22

What is the Tour de Steamboat?kdesjardin_TDS2016_068 (3)
The Tour de Steamboat is an annual all volunteer charity bicycle event that brings together 1000 cyclists and over 30 local and state-wide volunteers, on a one-day ride through beautiful Northern Colorado. Names like Rabbit Ears Pass, Gore Pass, Stagecoach, Yellow Jacket Pass Yampa, and Oak Creek dot this incredible route, and 4 mileage options offer something for everyone to enjoy. We are a non-competitive event open to cyclists of all ages and participants are encouraged to ride at their own pace and enjoy the majestic scenery in our part of the world! We offer first class aid stations, support and end of the ride BBQ and local microbrew beer garden.

How do I register?
With 4 route distances–26, 46, 66 and 116 miles–there’s something for every rider!

Who are the beneficiaries and how can I donate?
The TDS benefits several nonprofit organizations making an impact in the Yampa Valley: Partners in Routt County, Routt County Riders, Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide (REPS), and Yampa Valley Sustainability Council.

The Tour de Steamboat is YVSC’s only fundraising event. Please come out and support YVSC (along with several other amazing local organizations) all while participating in a scenic ride at the same time!
