This year, the Tour de Steamboat benefit bike raffle has 5 prizes for one $50 ticket. For the grand prize, Steamboat-based Kent Eriksen Cycles and Shimano are partnering to give away a custom-designed, titanium road frame completely built with Shimano Ultegra components. The hand-crafted road bike is valued at $8,000. Other prizes include a DT Swiss wheel set, Big Agnes camping package, the “Steamboat Brew Bike,” a Giant Momentum fat tire bike, and a $300 gift certificate for Primal Wear cycling gear. Only 500 tickets will be sold. Additional prize information and tickets sales are online at www.tourdesteamboat.com.

The winners of the raffle will be chosen at the Tour de Steamboat cycling event on July 22. The non-competitive ride offers four distance options—from 26 – 116 miles—for cyclists of all ages and abilities. All proceeds from the Tour de Steamboat benefit local non-profits: Routt County Riders, Partners in Routt County, Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide (REPS) and Yampa Valley Sustainability Council. More information on the routes and registration can also be found at www.tourdesteamboat.com.
