This year’s Leadership Steamboat project was a huge success.  Spending 52 straight weeks building, promoting, launching, and educating on the new Yampa Valley Gives Day in conjunction with Colorado Gives Day, this year’s leaders successfully raised $370,974 for 40 local non profits in a mere 24 hours. Increased by a $20,000 local incentive fund and the statewide $1.15 million incentive, the final number should rise above $400,000.  Last year 12 local non profits participated in Colorado Gives Day to raise approximately $12,000.

Colorado donors once again demonstrated unprecedented generosity by giving $26.2 million to Colorado nonprofits on the 7th annual Colorado Gives Day, December 9, the biggest day of giving in the state! A record number of 107,862 donations were given to 1,677 organizations. Donations ranged from $10 to $300,000.

Our supporters helped us raise $6,585 for YVSC’s programs! Thank you!

It’s not too late to help YVSC get to our year-end goal of $20,000, visit Colorado Gives Day through December 31st to make a donation.
